How to start a night out in Punta Cana

Punta Cana nightlife rarely starts in a club. The pattern most travelers fall into looks like this: day Party Boat → beach-club sunset at Pearl, Kviar or Playa Juanillo → dinner at a Bávaro or Cap Cana restaurant → live-music bar → club around midnight. The boat is the icebreaker — you arrive at the beach club already with a group and the night writes itself.
