Punta Cana sits on one of the calmest stretches of the Caribbean, with a coral reef that breaks the swell almost the entire length of the Bávaro coast and protected anchorages from Cap Cana down to Saona. That combination — flat water, short runs to spectacular snorkeling, and three full-service marinas (Cap Cana, Puntacana Resort, and Bayahibe) — makes it one of the easiest places in the Caribbean to do a real private yacht day without the swell or weather windows you fight in St. Barts or the BVI.

Half-day (4 hours) is the most-booked option: leave Cap Cana Marina at 10 a.m., snorkel the Punta Espada reef, anchor for swimming and lunch, back by 2 p.m. Perfect if it's one of several excursions on your trip.
Full-day (8 hours) opens up the run south to Saona or Catalina — both protected islands with sandbars and reef. This is the day people remember for the rest of their lives.
Sunset (3 hours, 4–7 p.m.) is the photographer's choice. Calmest water of the day, golden light from 5:30, and you're back at the marina for dinner. Easily the best price-per-memory option.
Cap Cana Marina is the premium option — full superyacht facilities, the best fleet, and the quickest access to Punta Espada and Saona. 90 % of our charters leave from here.
Bayahibe is the right pick if you want to spend the whole day at Saona or Catalina — it's already 40 minutes closer by sea, so you get more time on the water and less time motoring.
Puntacana Resort & Club Marina is convenient if you're staying inside the Puntacana estate (Tortuga Bay, Westin), otherwise add a 20-minute land transfer.
Standard inclusions: captain and full crew (typically 2 for boats under 50 ft, 3–4 above), fuel for a defined cruising range, all snorkel gear, soft drinks, beer, water, ice, towels, and round-trip hotel transfers.
Usually extra: premium open bar (champagne, top-shelf spirits), private chef, in-house DJ, water toys (jet ski, SeaBob, inflatable slide), and dockage fees if you visit Saona or Catalina. We quote everything line-item — no surprises at the dock.
