Escape the beaches and discover one of Punta Cana's most remarkable natural treasures. Los Ojos Eco Journey takes guests into the heart of the Indigenous Eyes Ecological Reserve — a protected 1,500-acre sanctuary of tropical forest, freshwater cenotes, native wildlife and important conservation projects. Named after the Taíno word for natural freshwater springs, the reserve protects twelve stunning cenotes hidden beneath the canopy. Along scenic nature trails, visitors learn about Punta Cana's unique ecosystem, indigenous heritage and the conservation work that protects the endangered Rhinoceros Iguana and critically endangered Ridgway's Hawk. Combine nature, wildlife, culture and adventure in one unique eco-tourism experience, far from the typical tourist crowds.

   Welcome and orientation with your bilingual naturalist guide.

3. 09:45

   Forest trail

   Walk shaded trails learning about native flora, fauna and Taíno heritage.

4. 10:30

   Cenote swim

   Swim in crystal-clear freshwater cenotes fed by underground springs.

5. 11:45

   Conservation projects

   Visit the Rhinoceros Iguana habitat and Ridgway's Hawk project.

6. 12:30

   Return

   Drop-off at your hotel.
