Yes at any 4–5 star resort — they make ice from filtered/purified water. Independent beach bars: ask first.
Can I shower with tap water?+
Yes — showering and washing hands is fine. Just keep your mouth closed in the shower for the first 2 days.
What if I accidentally drank tap water?+
Most likely nothing happens. If you get an upset stomach, drink electrolytes (sold at any farmacia) and stick to bottled water + bland food for 24 h.
Is tap water safe for babies?+
No. Use bottled water for formula, brushing teeth, and rinsing bottles. Boil it first to be extra safe.
