Will I lose control of when my yacht is available?+

No — you keep full owner-use calendar control. Block any week you want for personal use; we only sell what you make available. The standard mix is 60% available for charter / 40% owner use during peak season, but the split is yours to define.

What size yachts do you market?+

Day charters from 35-ft centre consoles up to 100+ ft motor yachts and luxury catamarans. Most of our demand sits in the 45–80 ft sweet spot for full-day Saona / Catalina / Palmilla itineraries, plus 70 ft+ for sunset cruises and multi-day Caribbean trips.

Do you work with my existing captain and crew?+

Yes — most owners keep their existing crew and we layer hospitality training (welcome ritual, dietary profiling, debrief protocol) on top. If you don't have crew, we recommend vetted, multilingual captains and stewardesses at market rates.

How are charter fees collected?+

Guests pay through our merchant of record before departure (card / wire / crypto for international clients). Funds settle to a holding account, expenses are netted, and the owner balance is wired monthly with a detailed statement. No cash floating around the marina.

What about insurance, taxes and licensing?+

Charter operation requires Dominican commercial-charter licensing, sufficient hull and P&I insurance for paying passengers, and ITBIS / income-tax reporting. We coordinate the licensing process with your captain and recommend insurance brokers — actual policies and tax filings stay in your name.

Will heavy charter use hurt my yacht's resale value?+

Not at our utilisation model. The pattern that destroys resale value is back-to-back charters with under-resourced crew and no maintenance discipline. Our calibrated 8–14 charters/peak month with daily wash, monthly inspection and full owner-paid maintenance keeps the yacht in better condition than most under-used private boats.

Can I also use the yacht for my own family and friends?+

Absolutely — that's why most people buy a yacht in the first place. We block your dates first, then sell the rest. Friends-and-family rates at cost (fuel + crew tips) are easy to coordinate.

What if I already have a captain who handles charters informally?+

Common situation — and it usually leaves 40–60% of revenue on the table because there's no marketing engine, no dynamic pricing and no upsell capture. We complement your captain rather than replace him, and the math typically pays for our fee 2–3x over within 6 months.
