Barbudo has become one of Cap Cana's culinary highlights. Expect creative dishes, fresh seafood, premium meats and a modern atmosphere without feeling overly formal. If you're celebrating something special, Barbudo is an excellent choice.
Sometimes you just want authentic Italian food. Dolce Italia is one of those restaurants people return to again and again for fresh pasta, wood-fired pizza and classic Italian dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed and works equally well for couples and families with kids.
Bohemian is a small intimate spot for wine lovers — excellent tapas, carefully selected wines and attentive service. It's ideal if you're looking for a quieter evening away from the larger restaurants.
If you prefer restaurants with live music, DJs, a lively atmosphere, signature cocktails and stylish interiors, then SBG should be on your list.
Located inside BlueMall Punta Cana, SBG transforms from an elegant restaurant during dinner into one of Punta Cana's most vibrant evening destinations. It's especially popular for birthdays, celebrations and nights out with friends.

Instead of one single restaurant, you'll find a charming pedestrian boulevard lined with cafés, restaurants, ice cream shops and small boutiques. Kids can walk around safely while parents enjoy dinner, and there are hotels nearby that give the whole zone a relaxed neighborhood feel — very different from the busier tourist strips.
You'll find Italian, Mexican, Spanish, Asian, Caribbean and international restaurants in walking distance, making it an excellent choice for families or groups with different tastes.
For an unforgettable evening, consider La Palapa. At Eden Roc Cap Cana, La Palapa is one of the most iconic restaurants in the destination and is especially popular for anniversaries, proposals and sunset dinners.
If eating directly on the sand is on your vacation checklist, Jellyfish Restaurant in Bávaro remains one of Punta Cana's classic beachfront restaurants. Fresh seafood, ocean views and tropical surroundings make it a memorable dining experience — particularly at sunset.
1. Reserve in advance — popular restaurants book out 3–7 days ahead in high season (December to March).
2. Dress code — most upscale restaurants follow a smart-casual code; no flip-flops or tank tops at dinner.
3. Transportation — taxis and private transfers are widely available; Cap Cana is gated, so save the restaurant name when arriving.
4. Best timing — sunset reservations (around 6:30–7:30 PM) usually offer the best atmosphere.
5. Pick by zone — Cap Cana is generally quieter and more upscale, while Bávaro offers more nightlife and casual dining.
One of the best things about Punta Cana is that an incredible day doesn't have to end after the beach. Many of our guests spend the morning on a catamaran party boat, a day trip to Saona Island, a snorkeling tour to Catalina Island, a buggy adventure through sugarcane fields or sunset horseback riding on Macao Beach — and finish the day with dinner in Cap Cana or Punta Cana Village.
